1. HONOURS AWARDS :

(1) Gold medals to the examinees who stand in the order of merit at secondary, praveshika, senior secondary (Academic) and senior  Upadhyay examinations and silver medals to the second in the order of merit.

(2) Awards instituted by different personalities along with medals and cash to the candidates obtaining highest marks/ position in faculty, subject or examinations as per understanding, two medals are for girls.

2. SHIELDS 

Shields are presented to those schools giving best results on various criteria.

 

3. Centrally Sponsored National Award for teachers for use of ICT

National Award for teachers for use of ICT in education has been introduced by Govt. of India for different states/UTs and Autonomous Bodies/organizations under MHRD. In all 87 ICT awards ae instituted out of which three awards are allocated for the teachers of Rajasthan. The award proposes to felicitate those teachers who have enhanced student learning by effectively and innovatively integrating technology supported learning into the school curriculum and subject teaching, and thereby promoted enquiry-based cooperative collaborative learning using ICT among their students. Teachers of primary, upper primary, secondary, higher secondary schools pertaining to the schools affiliated to the department of education/ the board of secondary Education Rajasthan.
Schools will send detailed entreies in the prescribed format alongwith supporting documents to the Directorate of Education, Bikaner through proper channel (Principal/DEO/Regional Offices etc.)
A committee under the Chairmanship of Secretary/Commissioner Education will scrutinize all the entries and shortlist the candidates and forward the same to the Chairman of the Awards Committee alongwith minutes of the meeting. The state/organization shall recommend only twice the number of teachers as their awards quota, in order of merit.
Short listed candidates would be required to make presentations before the Awards committee. Invitation in this regard will be sent to teachers directly by CIET-NCERT with intimation to their Directorate. The composition of the Committee will be as follows :

Each awardee teacher will be awarded with a laptop and commendation certificate. All winners will form a community of resource persons through networking. The last date for forwarding of short listed candidates by State Organisations to CIET-NCERT, New Delhi-110016 is 31st July, 2012. It may be noted that the teachers/schools of your esteemed organization are to submit their nominations to your good officers well in time as prescribed by them. Nominations/entries in any case should not be sent to NCERT Directly by the teachers/schools.
